Samstag, 1.Oktober 2011 – Dillingen/Lokschuppen
Nach dem Frühstück sehe ich mir mit Didi Robins ersten Rohschnitt von Kongo-Film an, um danach mit ihm telefonisch das Hauptproblem zu erörtern. Dadurch, dass wir gehalten waren, nicht durch zu großen Aufwand zu viel Aufmerksamkeit auf uns zu ziehen, ist die Tonspur halt besonders beim Rebound 2-Eröffnungskonzert am Ende des Films nicht wirklich zu gebrauchen und unsere erste Idee, an diese Stelle die „Redemption Song“-Version vom BAPFEST zu transplantieren, wirkt zu aufgesetzt. Vielleicht muss ich den Teileinfach nachsynchronisieren, das heißt, den Song noch mal in der entsprechenden Geschwindigkeit allein zur akustischen Gitarre spielen. Wir verabreden uns für Sonntag Nachmittag. Bevor wir nach Dillingen aufbrechen, schaffe ich es tatsächlich noch in die Saarbrückener Innenstadt, um mir ein paar CDs und Vargas Llosas neuen Roman „Der Traum des Kelten“ zuzulegen, aber das Album, das mich hauptsächlich interessiert hatte (Noel Gallaghers „High flying Birds“) ist noch gar nicht im Handel. Die Bundesliga-Konferenz (ohne FC, der verliert erst im Verlauf unseres Soundchecks in Berlin) gebe ich mir in der Dillinger „Stadtschenke“. Auch eine Art, Deutschland kennen zu lernen. Das heutige Konzert wird – wie ich erwartet hatte – zum euphorischsten unserer bisher gespielten mit diesem Programm. Schade, dass wir es nicht schaffen diesen Abend als Live-Album zu veröffentlichen, aber das ist zeitlich für unsere Jubiläumsbox nicht mehr realisierbar. Auch heute holt das Publikum auch noch „Leechterkette“ aus uns raus und ein weiteres Mal gebe ich mir allergrößte Mühe, einzusehen, warum wir mit den „Deutschlandliedern“ nicht im ganzen Land touren. Kann eigentlich nicht sein, dass es lediglich an WDR-Budget-Gründen liegt. Ordentlich promoted, machen wir damit jede Halle voll und die Leute stehen Kopf.

Allein schon die "Explosion" von Frank Chastenier an den Tasten war das Eintrittsgeld wert. Mehr davon - der Rest Deutschlands hat diese Lieder genau so nötig (und verdient!!!) wie das Saarland. Und als Saarländer schaut man sich jede Tour ja auch gerne "im Reich" an :-)
Nein, Scherz beiseite, das Programm hat absolut Potential für ein Live-Album, ich warte immer noch sehnsüchtig auf die Ansage des lokalen Senders bzgl. des Sendetermins für den Mitschnitt.
Und mich tröstet ja auch die Aussicht auf den 22.11.

Ja,...DAS wäre wohl so, denn dieses Programm ist nicht nur für eingefleischte BAP-JüngerINNEN etwas, sondern auch für ander Musik-Sparten-Genießer...
Bin total begeistert von dem neuen Kleid, was Mike Herting den Liedern für diese Tour gegeben hat.
Wünsche mir auch soooooo sehr eine Live-Aufnahme von der "Deutschlandlieder"-Tour und schließe mich den Worten meines Vorschreibers gerne an! Bitte!!!

es muß nicht alles in die Jubiläumsbox - mach Dir keinen Streß ... Du würdest uns auch nächstes Jahr zu Ostern mit einem Bigband Live Album eine große Freude machen ... aber bitte das ganze Konzert - nicht wie bei der neuen Westernhagen Live nur so ein Best-of-Aufguß ... der Abend war grandios, das muß ungekürzt unter die Leute gebracht werden!
